Defense attorney Jay Nigrini successfully appealed the sentence to Pennsylvania's Superior Court, prompting this afternoon's re-sentencing.Bednarik, who does not have any other convictions on his record, remained free on $10,000 unsecured bail while his sentence was appealed.Nigrini sought probation for his client, a standard sentence for Bednarik's crimes,shiny bikinis for saleblack fishnet body stocking but Anthony said prison time was warranted because the defendant violated a position of trust at DeSales, targeted his co-workers and as a graduate of Catholic schools, knew better than to behave as he did in that environment.In his appeal,factory connection high heel shoes Nigrini argued that the reasons Anthony cited for sending his client to prison don't meet the legal criteria for an aggravated-range sentence. The three-judge Superior Court panel ruled that Anthony erred when he cited Bednarik's religious background as one his reasons for imposing a stiff sentence.Bednarik, of Blandon, Berks County, is a Bethlehem Catholic High School alumnus who earned a bachelor's degree from DeSales before going to work as the Catholic university's director of campus environment.
